Like Moses

Sometimes I feel like Moses
Standing at the feet of glory
Stuttering and stammering
All of my excuses
After hours and hours of prayers
Begging God to let my children sleep

I am losing sleep
“I will be with you”

But I cannot function without sleep
“I will teach you”

But I NEED sleep
“I AM, YHWH”

But I really don’t want to
“Who made man’s eyes, his mind, his needs, is it not I?
Now Trust and go Love my children well”
